I attended the Journalism Interactive 2015 conference from April 24-25 at the University of Missouri. Thanks to a grant from my university through our student opportunity fund, I – along with four of my classmates and two of my professors – was able to travel to Columbia for the weekend. I attended many of the sessions listed on this program.
I was a part of a group of students producing and summarizing content from the conference on this blog. It was a great experience in terms of learning lots of new things as well as getting to produce content during the conference and promote it. I also livetweeted many of the sessions (some of which can be found in the Storify posts) and got to digitally network with those at the conference through the #jiconf hashtag.
